Who We Are

I am Dr. Paul S. Jensen (Dr. Paul) – an optometric physician who is passionate about all aspects of dry eye care.  I opened Northwest Dry Eye Center in the Seattle area in 2012.  It is the first stand-alone practice in the U.S. dedicated solely dry eye care.

Since the late 1990’s I have devoted my energies into learning about diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease.  This has resulted in research, writing, two U.S. patents, and the development of highly successful strategies for those I serve.

I am Rebecca Petris, maybe known to some of you as the energy behind the Dry Eye Zone and Dry Eye Shop.  I have loved working with those of you who have needed some guidance in dry eye care.  But I am also involved in research and organizing on a large scale basis.

Together, we will bring to you (without commercial interference) your connection to the dry eye world and our unvarnished opinions about what works, what doesn’t work, and how to navigate through the frustrating landscape that dry eye has become.
